Jaeger Lab Says Goodbye to Research Technician, Andrew Weeden

Andrew Weeden, the first member to join the Jaeger Lab in 2022, is leaving Moffitt to pursue a PhD in Cancer Biology and Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh.

While in the Jaeger Lab, Andrew was involved in many important projects. He was integral to the establishment and validation of our genetically engineered mouse models. He also maintained and processed many patient derived organoid samples for groundbreaking immunopeptidomics analysis. Andrew's contributions to the lab set the foundation for all of the research projects to follow and we will miss his incredible work ethic and expertise.

Outside of the lab, Andrew was often found sailing Tampa Bay with fellow lab member and graduate student, Chris Polera, aboard their sailboat "The MH-Sea".

We wish Andrew the best of luck on this next chapter and cant wait to see the incredible things he will accomplish!
